I'm going to build a replica of my old "Morris" key that I have had since a novice in the 80's. I believe I bought it at Radio Shack. It was discontinued in 2010. You can still get some of the parts for it. I'm only going to purchase the knob. I hold my key close to my body and tap on it sideways.
Hey that's cool. You gonna use 3D printing? I believe Radio shack sold two flavors of straight Morse key... One key sold for about $5 and had a cheap black plastic base.... the second version was about $10 and had a nice brass base.
